Throughout my journey, I’ve been fortunate to have my work recognized globally, leading to invitations to participate in numerous international forums and conferences. These experiences, all fully sponsored, have allowed me to share my ideas, learn from the brightest minds in the world, and immerse myself in diverse cultures. Each opportunity has significantly shaped my perspective and approach to innovation.

Here are some of the key forums and conferences I’ve had the privilege to attend:

- Switzerland: Took part in the IUCN Leaders Forum, addressing global conservation challenges.

- Canada: Engaged in academic and environmental discussions at the University of British Columbia.

- South Korea: Competed in and won recognition at the International Design Competition.

- Vietnam: Delegation leader in an immersion and manufacturing program sponsored by the Singapore government.

- Spain and Belgium: Presented my work to the European Union Council as part of their sustainability initiatives.

- India: Participated in the ASEAN Summit, focusing on sustainable development in the region.

What I Learned and How It Changed Me

These experiences taught me the immense value of collaboration, adaptability, and the power of diverse perspectives. By interacting with leaders, researchers, and innovators worldwide, I learned that global challenges require multidisciplinary solutions and partnerships. Each country’s unique approach to sustainability provided me with new insights, from technological innovations to cultural traditions deeply rooted in environmental stewardship.

Standing on international platforms gave me a deeper sense of responsibility to represent not just my work but also the collective potential of young innovators. It humbled me to see how ideas and hard work could bridge gaps between nations, creating opportunities for cooperation and shared progress.

Why This Helps My Startup Grow

For my startup, Flint, these global experiences have been invaluable. They’ve given me a broader understanding of sustainability challenges, helping me identify how Flint’s paper battery can meet diverse energy needs. By networking with experts and decision-makers, I’ve gained insights into scaling innovations globally and tailoring them to different markets.

The exposure also reinforced the importance of resilience and adaptability—traits critical for any entrepreneur. Witnessing how others navigated challenges in their fields inspired me to persevere and innovate further. Moreover, the credibility and connections gained from these forums have opened doors for partnerships, funding, and collaborations that directly benefit Flint’s growth and vision.

Ultimately, these experiences showed me that while my startup started as a local effort, its impact could be global. They continue to shape how I lead Flint, pushing me to dream bigger and work harder to create solutions that matter.
